Game Log 3 - Final group test

       In general, the game went well this evening! However, I still made a little change after the test in order to extend the game time (make a slight change for the exchange rule).

Game Name: Alchemist (Collection, Exchange, Strategy)
Game Bits : Pokers, tokens, dices
Goal: The player with 3 red tokens and an empty hand wins
Core Dynamics: collection, survival, prediction
Setup & Start:
1. Each player has 8 cards
2. Each player can put down 3-card-straight and pairs (face up) in front of them to exchange for green tokens.
3. Roll the dice to determine the starting player
4. The starting player draws one card and put down a useless card on the discard pile.
Rules (Mechanics):
1. On your turn, you can choose to match the card on the top of the discard pile to make a 3-card-   straight or a pair (face down) to exchange for tokens. And then put down one useless card on the discard pile. (you can lie and others can challenge you, details see Challenge)
    Or you could draw one card and put down a useless card on the discard pile.
2. If there is no card in your hand, you need to roll the dice to decide how many cards you need to draw.
Challenge:
If the player hand is true, the challenger draws 4 cards.
If the player hand is false, the player gives one green token to the challenger and then draws 4 cards.
Special:
1 red token == 3 green tokens
1 green token ==> 2 cards [At any time, you can use tokens to exchange for opportunities to draw cards and snatch the turn]
a 3-card-straight/a pair == 1 green token

Besides my own game, I also played 2 other games tonight! One is a typical "Race to the end" game and the other one is a "survival + prediction" game based on psychological speculation. Have a lot of fun tonight :)
